The Leadership Broward Foundation selects a diverse group of established community leaders for the Leadership Broward program each year. Completion of the Leadership Broward program is required for membership in the Leadership Broward Foundation. This curriculum provides an intensive orientation to the issues facing our county and is designed to enhance the participants’ leadership skills and knowledge of the community, provide practical experience in community service, and facilitate opportunities to interact with other community leaders and trustees. We welcome your application to Leadership Broward 2010-2011 Class XXVIX, as it demonstrates your commitment to providing strong leadership for Broward County’s future.

Youth Leadership Broward is NOW Recruiting for YLB Class XXIV!

(High School Juniors):

 

Youth Leadership Broward is a student leadership program that offers Broward County high school juniors the opportunity to learn more about themselves and their community. Through a series of monthly program days, participants meet leaders from businesses, government agencies, and civic organizations in the community to discover the current issues facing Broward County and learn how they can be part of the solution. Through this program participants will also interact with 50 other high school juniors from schools across Broward County. The Youth Leadership Broward Program is an experience of a lifetime, through which particpants will enhance and develop their leadership skills and become an alum of the premier leadership development program in South Florida.

Senior Executive Orientation:

The SEO mission is to involve Senior Executives in leadership roles in Broward County and the South Florida region by providing in-depth information on current trends and issues as well as the opportunity to meet and form alliances with other community leaders.

The Senior Executive Orientation (SEO) program, a collaboration between The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Fort Lauderdale and Leadership Broward Foundation, is for prominent and committed senior-level executives. Each Februrary, the Senior Executive Orientation, a 2 and half day program, offers an intensive and comprehensive profile of Broward County that is tailored to meet the demanding schedule of the senior executive. Particpants interact with their peer group and share successes and ideas with men and women who are leaders in their own field of endeavors. Participants benefit from the insights and perspectives of the group in highly participative roundtable discussions and intense Q&A sessions. Participants also interact with community policy makers.  Qualified applicants must be of senior executive level. The Senior Executive Orientation program is designed for the benefit of senior-level executives who live, work or have business in Broward County.
