Youth Leadership Summit

A Three Day Summit for High School Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors

The Youth Leadership Summit is designed to educate young leaders (high school sophomores, juniors and seniors) about the current issues facing Broward County and empower youth to positively influence the direction of Broward County's future.

The Summit, which takes place over the course of 2 1/2 days during the spring semester, focuses on themes of life in Broward County through a mix of presentations and interactive activities. These themes include: Life in Broward County; Living Leadership; Educating our Community; Building Community; Caring for our Community; Economic Vision; The Light from Within and Setting the Direction. By the end of the Summit, participants create a realistic plan for improving some aspects of life in the community related to one or more of these themes, and will grasp a more comprehensive understanding of the power you hold to positively serve your community!
