SAVE THE DATE!  February 2, 10, 17 and 25, 2011

Senior Executive Orientation is an intensive overview of Broward County. The program is designed to acquaint senior-level executives with the physical, social, economic and educational structure of our community.  In addition to meeting and networking with some of the area’s key decision makers, selected Senior Executive Orientation (SEO) participants will be given contacts and resources which will enable them to become more effectively involved in community issues.

Who Should Attend?

The SEO program is a unique opportunity in Broward County for CEOs and senior-level executives who are new or relatively new to the community and want to know more about the area – with a minimum expenditure of time.  The ideal candidate is the President, CEO, COO, CFO, or an executive who reports directly to the senior officer in the organization. 

Curriculum

This interactive program sponsored by Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc. and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, is designed by a steering committee to focus on Broward County’s history, culture, government, education and economic development. Participants will obtain valuable information from Broward County’s most knowledgeable authorities and as a participant, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with other top executives, key decision-makers, and top-level policy makers in both an educational and social setting.

Date

The program dates are tailored to meet the needs of the overextended executive. Time away from the office is minimized. SEO requires a full commitment by selected participants to attend the following sessions and networking receptions:

Wed, February 2, 2011             Session I:  Economic Development                             3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

                                                 Cocktail Reception                                                       6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Thu, February 10, 2011            Session II: Transportation                                          8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon

Thu, February 17, 2011            Session III:  Education & Workforce                           1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Fri, February 25, 2011              Session IV:  Resources                                                8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon

                                                 Awards Luncheon and Keynote Speaker                      12 Noon to 2:00 p.m.

Cost

$100 Application Fee (fee will be applied toward the tuition if accepted into the program) 

$750 Tuition (includes breakfast, lunch, cocktail reception, awards luncheon and all program materials.

Due to space limitations, remaining qualified applicants will be placed on a waiting list for a subsequent session.  Group size is limited to 30 to allow for meaningful interaction.
