Our Mission is "to develop and inspire individuals to serve our community."

 

 

Now more than ever, our programs are in high demand in the community. The Leadership Broward (LB) adult program and the Youth Leadership Broward (YLB) program have proven to serve as an excellent catalyst in helping Broward's brightest minds realize their full potential as informed, confident and pro-active leaders. The measurable impact of these programs is critical in creating a better future for our community and for Broward County. 

 

You can support our programming in a variety of ways including:

  • Sponsoring a participant in our YLB or LB programs in the form of a scholarship
  • Donating an item or service to one of our special events
  • Sponsoring a Program Day
  • Introducing our organization to a friend or colleague by attending one of our special events


We know that you have many choices when it comes to choosing the right organization for your support in Broward County. Here are a few things that you may not know about us AND a few reasons why we hope that you will consider supporting the Leadership Broward Foundation:

  • Did you know? . . . Leadership Broward (LB) class participants have completed approx. 500 Community Service Projects since inception in 1982.
  • Did you know? . . . Each year, LB and Youth Leadership Broward (YLB) program participants and volunteers dedicate in excess of 12,000 hours to their respective community service organizations.
  • Did you know? . . . Since inception, graduates of our leadership programs have served more than 200 different nonprofit organizations in Broward County.
  • Did you know? . . . Of LBF's six core programs, Emerge Broward (started in 2007), is the fastest growing young professionals leadership development program in Broward County boasting a membership of nearly 700.
  • Did you know? . . . LBF has served over 400 at-risk youth through our Follow the Leader In You (FLY) program.
  • Did you know? . . . More than 64% of Leadership Broward graduates hold senior-level titles, with approximately 20% having titles as CEO, chairman or president. Nearly 95% of our graduates serve on at least one charitable board in Broward County. *
