Dear Leadership Broward Alumni & Friends,

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new executive director of Leadership Broward.  While I’ve met many LB alumni and friends since I took the post in mid-September, I wanted to make sure all of you know who I am, where I come from and my vision for this great organization.

My experience in leadership programs comes from extensive involvement as a volunteer for Leadership Hollywood, where I successfully chaired the program for six years.  This meaningful volunteer involvement sparked my interest in the position here at Leadership Broward.  I understand leadership programs and their importance and impact to our community.  I understand the challenges of being a volunteer.  And I believe my perspective as a volunteer leader is invaluable to this position, as I work with you to continue the legacy of Broward’s premier leadership organization.

Having previously worked for 13 years at Regions Bank, I also bring a strong banking and finance background.  I have the depth of experience to ensure financial stewardship of Leadership Broward.

My hope is to bring together my leadership and banking experience to set the pace for the future of this organization.  My vision is to continue to work with all of you to execute on our very important mission “To develop and inspire individuals to serve our community.”

I’ve been fortunate to hit the ground running since joining Leadership Broward.  Our 35th Annual Profiles in Leadership Ball was a resounding success, thanks to outstanding honorees, generous sponsors, and a fabulous volunteer committee.  Thanks to our program volunteers, we have launched the Leadership Broward adult program and the Youth Leadership Broward program, and in spite of delays and challenges due to Hurricane Irma, both of our signature programs are off to a strong start.

I look ahead to even more success.  Our future is bright and hopeful, thanks to all of your support.  Thank you for your commitment to Leadership Broward.

Wishing you and yours a healthy and happy Thanksgiving,

Andrew Zullo
Executive Director
Leadership Broward Foundation
