- Everyone had a safe home
- Rising sea levels no longer posed a problem
- No one suffered through bullying
- We lived in a world where we helped each other succeed
Leadership Broward Foundation educates and supports rising leaders in our community to go out and make waves over critical social issues, and to become responsible members of our community without fear of standing up and creating change.
Our goal through the What If…? program is to expose the student to real life creative thinking to tackle complex social and environmental issues. We hope that students will walk away with a deeper understanding of how their own entrepreneurial drive, talent and skill and passion for causes can affect significant and permanent social change. We will assist students in developing out their idea and show them how to build a viable, well thought out business/program plan.
Topics to be included:
- Problem-solving skills
- How to budget
- Various components of a complete business/program plan.
- Create social change through innovation
- Invest in community development
- Learn from the past
- Improve the present
- Plan for the future
- Have the drive, passion, and ability to produce innovative solutions that change the social landscape for the better.
The trickle effect of giving a student the ability to think outside of the box, results in better and safer communities, a more confident generation, and stimulation of the economy. We at Leadership Broward Foundation work to advance the quality of life in Broward County through developing, connecting and impacting people like you!
A minimum of 10 community service hours can be earned through this program.
