Youth Leadership Broward

For the past thirty years, Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc. (LBF) has provided an opportunity for Broward County high school juniors to develop their leadership skills through the Youth Leadership Broward (YLB) program, which encourages participants to assume leadership roles and influence the direction of Broward County's future.

YLB is a nine-month program that includes monthly program days where participants gain real-life experiences through interactions with leaders from businesses, government agencies, and civic organizations in the community. The YLB program offers youth an in-depth examination of the critical issues facing Broward County today and the tools to understand the power they possess to positively serve their community. Upon completion of the YLB program, participants will graduate into a thriving group of active LBF alumni. By completing the YLB program, these youth will become the fabric of one of the premier leadership development organizations in the country.
