Step 3: Complete Financial Assistance Form (if applicable).

Step 4: Pay the $25 application fee by clicking HERE.

January – April 2020:

There will be information sessions for YLB Class XXXIV at individual schools as requested.  Please ask your school to contact Thao Le at 954-767-8866 or if you would like someone to come and talk to current sophomores about the program.

May/June 2020:

Applications will be reviewed by the YLB Class XXXIV Selection Committee. LBF is committed to cultural and economic diversity and considers all students who have demonstrated leadership skills and talents.

June 10, 2020:

An email will be sent to all applicants notifying them of their acceptance status.

June 17, 2020:

Accepted students must attend a mandatory program orientation.

The cost of the program is $800 and covers all program costs including bus transportation and lunch on each of the days. Financial aid is available based on need. A $25 application fee is due at time of submitting the application. If not accepted the $25 application fee will be refunded. Final payment must be paid in full by June 17, 2020.

Community Projects
All students are required to participate in a monthly community service project with a small group of YLB classmates outside of YLB days and after school hours. Students can earn up to 30 hours of community service throughout the year.
