MOKSHA – Dine & Give
MOKSHA INDIAN BRASSERIE’S THIRD “DINE & GIVE” CHARITY NIGHT ON JUNE 22 TO BENEFIT LEADERSHIP BROWARD FOUNDATION
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (May 24, 2021) – MOKSHA Indian Brasserie, East Fort Lauderdale’s boutique Indian restaurant offering a contemporary dining experience, is concluding its second anniversary “Dine & Give” series by hosting a charity night for Leadership Broward Foundation on Tuesday, June 22, from 5 – 10 p.m. MOKSHA will donate 30 percent of the evening’s proceeds to the premier leadership organization. The restaurant celebrated its encore charitable series and commitment to the Fort Lauderdale community with previous benefits for the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus on May 11 and Slow Burn Theatre Co. on June 1.
For the past 40 years, Leadership Broward has developed and inspired individuals to serve the Broward County community by helping them expand their leadership skills, enhance their knowledge of local and state issues, and leverage their individual passions to initiate positive change.
“MOKSHA is a shining example of a small business who takes the idea of investment in the community a step further,” said Andrew Zullo, CEO, Leadership Broward Foundation. “We are grateful to be an ongoing beneficiary of their proactive efforts and we invite the community to join us for dinner to benefit Leadership Broward’s continuing endeavor to cultivate and expand our resources to build a stronger future for Florida.”
MOKSHA’s progressive menu features close to 70 South Asian selections comprised of traditional flavors with unexpected twists. The 85-seat indoor restaurant features an extensive menu catering to meat, seafood and vegetarian preferences. Food lovers will delight in small and large plates, soups, salads, live fire specialties, breads and unique fruit and floral essence-infused beverages and desserts. Diners will enjoy their culinary experience in an intimate setting with modern glam eclectic influences.
The restaurant’s signature specialties include Lassoni Gobi, Old Delhi Butter Chicken, Zaffron Lobster and the MOKSHA Feast. Even non-alcoholic beverages and desserts are a celebration of flavors, from the Kokum Sherbat drink to the Gulab Jamoon dessert.
“As a small business rooted in the community, it has been our pleasure to give back to these three worthy causes, now, at a critical time when they need it most,” said Rish Karam, owner of MOKSHA Indian Brasserie. “We are appreciative of their loyalty and proud to celebrate our second anniversary satisfying Fort Lauderdale’s business, leisure and tourism markets that enjoy diverse, curated cuisine.”
