The Leadership Broward Board of Directors and alumni recently welcomed Leadership Broward Class XXXVII for the 2018-2019 year at Pier 66 Hotel & Marina.


The new class kicked off the program with a two-day opening retreat where class members participated in team-building exercises and personal leadership development. LB class members then participate in eight monthly program days from October through May consisting of topics including Government & Education, Urban Development and Environment, Media, Culture, Arts and History, Criminal Justice, Business, Transportation & Tourism and Health and Human Services.


At the end of the program, the LB class members will graduate with a thorough breadth of knowledge about the community they live and work in. Graduation is the culmination and completion of community service projects where participants work over the nine month period on special projects with local non-profits.
